Every year libraries, museums, archives, historical societies, and preservation organizations are encouraged to set aside May 1 to participate in MayDay. It’s easy to participate. Just take one step toward preparing your institution for disasters.
Examples of the simple preparedness steps that you can complete include holding fire safety sessions, inventory your emergency supply kit, and create or update your disaster plan.
